Scrum Master III (Project Manager III)
Detroit, MI (Locals Preferred)
Must be on our W2
Major Duties and
Duration 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- SCRUM MASTER -
Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review,
Retrospective, Backlog Grooming Coach Product Owner and Delivery Team on
how to engage with the Scrum framework
Reinforce Agile principles and values
Foster team self-organization
Protect scrum team from distractions
Help remove impediments as needed but help team self-organize
Be contact person for all things
Radiate project status visually to management, stakeholders, and team
Ready to work as a team member to support the process
Help maintain tools (backlog, metrics, radiators etc
Be a servant leader (help execute PO and DEV tasks when able: user story
writing, product roadmap development, release burn-up creation/maintenance,
sprint burn-down creation/maintenance, etc
Help further agile community within the organization. Provide learning
opportunities to organization (talks, workshops, etc
- PROJECT MANAGER -
Assist in development and support of the vision and business objectives of
the organization
Direct the activities of resources in line with business objectives of the
organization
Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services
Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines
Implement process and system improvements including integration with other
functional areas
Translate organization''s business requirements into effective business
solutions
Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience introducing and establishing Agile practices (SCRUM
Coach)
Proven experience managing development projects using an Agile
project/software development lifecycle methodology (SCRUM preferred)
Recognized by senior leaders as influential in achieving fundamental
organizational change
Develops and maintains long-term relationships with strategic customers
and industry leaders
Adept at the development of schedule, cost, and risk management strategies
Experienced implementing project management within various customer
organizations and environments
Experience in Quality Assurance management, concepts, and application,
including the latest version and CMMI methodologies
Education and Experience:
Likely facilitation experience of 5+ projects
Likely 7+ years of experience. Advanced regarding skill mastery
