Job Description :
Role: Scrum Master III
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be support (aka Scrum Master) for Implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery capability for .COM 2.0, 3.0 and Mobile APIs to automate and standardize service builds and deployments. This will promote faster and reliable service deployments, which in turn reduces the change and deployment related incidents.
Resource will also have some standard PM responsibilities (time approval, status reports, small .MPP plans, etc to keep the project in compliance with the PMO requirements.
Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Ensure that team members understand project objectives.
Maintain product backlog and release plan, and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team''s sprint goals.
Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
Career-Level position within field.
Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
Conducts complex work important to the organization.
Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

REQUIREMENTS
5+ years'' relevant experience.
Scrum Master or Agile-related certification.

PREFERRED
Scrum Master with a developer background a strong plus.
Scrum Master with DevOps and/or Infrastructure (PM) experience a strong plus.
TFS experience.

ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER
The team/projects do not have any customer facing applications, but provide services and tools to other development teams. As they are a middleware team, they are rolling out and enabling Agile processes, but given the nature of a services-like team, it is sometimes challenging to follow the typical scrum process. They often act more like an infrastructure team rather than an application development team.
Scrum Masters with an applications/technical background seem to work the best.
Scrum Master is being hired to lead one or more technical projects planned for 2019 (potentially into 2020 If the resource is fully successful, there will be the opportunity to expand and be assigned to a 2020 project(s
Technologies used: CA’s Release Automation, CA’s Continuous Delivery Director, Team City, Artifactory, Power Shell Script, Team Foundation Server.
Cloud experience isn''t necessary, but a bonus.
Will sit with 3 other Scrum Masters and the development team in Houston.
The team is co-located in Houston and Chicago. He/She will report up to the manager in Chicago; however, he makes frequent trips to Houston.
It is possible that there will be occasional travel to Chicago (2-4 times in 2019
