Role: Scrum Master
Duration: 12 months (possible extension)
Location: Houston, TX
Interview: Phone and In Person
Client: DIRECT
Rate: DOE

ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER*
Scrum Master will support Cloud Shopping & Booking.
Project is in the testing phase.
Will help plan testing sprints and scrums for developers, along with EQA, and help manage the release into the various production and non-production environments.
Scrum Master with a developer background a plus.
Scrum Master with Devops and/or Infrastructure (PM) experience a strong plus.
Cloud experience isn''t necessary, but a bonus.
Will sit with 3 other Scrum Masters and the development team in Houston.
Must be outgoing, assertive, and a strong communicator - not only to the team, but other vested parties.
Local candidates are STRONGLY preferred!

Description:
Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Ensure that team members understand project objectives.
Maintain product backlog and release plan, and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team''s sprint goals.
Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
Career-Level position within field.
Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.
Conducts complex work important to the organization.
Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

REQUIREMENTS
6-9 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of a Bachelor''s degree.
Scrum Master or Agile-related certification (CSM/CSPO or PMI-ACP

PREFFERED
Scrum Master with a developer background a strong plus.
Scrum Master with Devops and/or Infrastructure (PM) experience a plus.
TFS experience.
