Job Description
The role of the Scrum Master is:
- Review current practices by the IT staff to identify best agile model for the team moving forward.
- Train and facilitate the selected agile method for the team and incorporate the business into the process.
- Monitor team effectiveness and progress, workflow processes, and team dynamics using known tools (Burndown charts, velocity, etc) while providing feedback/coaching.
- Provide training and coaching to all business partners on scrum agile adoption for successful transitioning of the organization to agile delivery practices to include grooming, maintaining and prioritization of the product backlog.
- Coach and mentor the team with the expected transition to a rotating scrum master skill set so the team members can continue the agile process going forward.
