Help resolve impediments
Keep scrum artifacts visible
Promote transparency across multiple feature teams, with Product Owner and Leadership team
Help the team build quality into the software and deliveries
Interact directly with stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of the feature team by participating and leading retrospectives, sharing observations, and ideas for improvement
Facilitate two to four projects simultaneously utilizing the Agile methodology
Responsible for ensuring project teams adhere to Scrum values, practices and rules as the team’s Scrum Master
Responsible for working with product owners to define and prioritize features and defects
Serve as the principal communicator with internal stakeholders regarding project status
Basic Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master
Four year Bachelor''s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Communications or Engineering
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on software development projects
3+ years of experience in project management leading multiple, simultaneous projects across cross-functional teams
3+ year of experience with the Agile methodology
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience in Agile project management tools such as JIRA & Confluence
Experience leading projects with an onshore/offshore team model
Experience overseeing large multi-functional project teams
Demonstrated ability to resolve team conflicts, remove roadblocks and communicate appropriately to ensure a team''s success
Strong accountability, project planning/organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspect and adapt the way the team works to continuously improve
Demonstrated experience managing large projects with multiple work streams in various stages of development
Knowledge of SDLC and demonstrated experience employing SDLC in aspects of the project management process
4-6 years of prior experience in applying proven project management methodologies to large mission critical projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Background in Information Technology
