Short Description:
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the State of Iowa is looking for a Scrum Master to join our Application Development team
Complete Description:
Act as the product champion, and will be able to evangelize the product vision effectively to their team and to stakeholders
Understand basic fundamentals of software development process
Proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning
Collaborate with and present to business and technical teams as well as different levels of leadership
Work on multiple concurrent projects/iterations with multiple scrum teams
Required / Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience as agile scrum master
Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business partner and the operational aspects of the project.
Facilitate regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder feedback.
Lead agile ceremonies including daily standup meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Assist in the development and management of the product backlog. Prioritize, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
Manage risks and track issues throughout the project.
Manage the time reporting tasks and financials (SOW) for the project
Experience working in Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development environments
Experience working with teams that developed web-based solutions
Ability to write simple SQL queries
