We have an urgent requirement for Scripting Development Consultancy with our direct client

Position: Scripting Development Consultancy
Duration: 4 months
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Scope of services/description of work to be performed:-

Create tools using several programming languages (e.g. VB/Python) to create scripts to perform actions to increase accuracy and time savings for end users
Work with EWS staff to streamline operations and assist in improving county performance, reducing errors, improving customer service, and providing data.
Work with IT staff to incorporate BlueZone/Web scripts into other EWS applications
Communicate and coordinate with other scriptwriters to enhance learning of scripting and providing tools and educational materials to users

Specific skills/experience required:-

Experience developing BlueZone scripts for mainframe systems
Experience with writing VB scripts for mainframe systems
Experience with writing Python scripts for web applications
Experience writing Java scripts
Experience with mentoring developers

Project deliverables:-

Assist development teams in completing several Azure-based web applications. Integrate appropriate training into the team’s Scrums and backlogs as needed. Examples include:
Convert several legacy PDF based online forms to modern responsive design web apps.
Convert several legacy on premise .Net apps to Azure cloud apps.
