Salesforce Systems Analyst

San Jose, CA

4-6 months contract to hire



Additional notes:

· Had a Marketo operations person and then a sales force digital admin: They decided they are getting rid of Marketo

· Salesforce analyst – higher level than their previous salesforce digital admin

· More mid-level role

· Deals with Salesforce but understands the marketing side of things

· Pulling reports, cleaning up the data within salesforce

· Proficient in Salesforce administration

· Apex/ Visual force: not high level coding

· They are taking Salesforce to the next level – not implementing

· Culture: very important – team player, marketing is one of the larger teams, personalities working together and the technical piece. ‘Can do attitude’ Humble





Salary upon conversion range 100 -110K + bonus

Duties and Responsibilities

· Business Analytics – translate business requirements into actionable dashboards and processes for Salesforce users and executives

· Administration – manage the day-to-day maintenance of the Salesforce platform, such as user management, roles and profiles, workflows, triggers, page layouts, and security settings

· Training – provide training to users and ongoing guidance in best practices

· Troubleshooting – resolve and track system issues, work with outside development team as needed

· Reporting – maintain dashboards and reports, assist with ongoing reporting as needed using data analytics tools

· Data management – work with IT and Finance to ensure data accuracy across platforms

· Community – lead the development of advisor and employee communities using Community Cloud

· Continually look for ways to improve business processes and embrace new technologies and features

· Manage third-party application integrations

· Other duties may be assigned as needed and as our platform evolves



Qualifications (Key Skills, Education and Experience)

Experience
· 3+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator

· Expert with Microsoft Excel and analytical tools (Wave Analytics, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools)

· Solid understanding of database schema, data structures, and data modeling

· First-hand experience building and maintaining a customer/partner community

· Experience with DataLoader, DemandTools, or equivalent administration tools

· Prior experience working in the financial services industry a plus

Education/Training
· Bachelors’ degree in related field (Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT) required

· Salesforce Administrator Certification required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Proficient with business platforms, including Salesforce, Pardot, Tableau, and DocuSign

· Ability to code in Apex and Visualforce

· Exceptional technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Effective in working with multiple priorities and multiple business stakeholders

· A healthy curiosity about trends, usability, and best practices as it relates to Salesforce and Business Analytics
