Job Description
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for understanding business requirements and formulating high quality technical solutions that empower the Marketing teams to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform. While also being aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Involved in all phases of the full systems life cycle. Responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications and systems software.

Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong command of technical details to translate proposed solutions into functional specifications with technical team
Responsible for the overall configuration, design, and functionality of the Marketing Cloud automation platform
Responsible for the primary Marketing Cloud data model and architecture
Collaborate with other marketing technology teams across our technology organization
Work closely with other technical resources that support related systems such as
Proactively identifying production risks and creating actionable mitigation plans
Implement and provide architecture guidance for building scalable, maintainable solutions
Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize
Oversee product deployment activities and provide end-user documentation
Identify project issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
Experience in integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with tools such as WeChat, Google Analytics etc.
Solid understanding of relational databases, with expertise in writing SQL statements for data extraction
3+ years'' experience with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
3+ years'' experience with SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Proven ability to identify areas for process improvements and recommend/implement solutions
Proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills

O Ability to work effectively with non-technical personnel
o Ability to work effectively in a team situation with developers
Experience with email and/or marketing automation software and integration with databases
Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant is preferred, but not required
