Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 6 months contract

Background/Scope of Work
The successful resource will be a logical, process-oriented thinker with two or more years of experience as a Marketing Cloud Administrator, ideally including some work with a non-profit organization. Certification in Salesforce products is strongly preferred (Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Social Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator Experience supporting fundraising will be considered a plus.


Day-to-day project and support responsibilities will include:
- Meeting with customers and the solution architect to understand user requirements
- Working with implementation partner
- Provide technical subject matter expertise in Marketing Cloud data management
- Develop and execute marketing programs that use Marketing Cloud apps such as Email Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
- Provide expertise in marketing automation processes and campaign management
- Execute development and advanced configuration activities within the platform
- Identify project risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve issues
- Perform ongoing technical maintenance of the platform
- Collaborate with marketing and engagement, digital, and technology teams
- Providing ongoing customer support and training
- Overseeing user acceptance testing of new features and releases

In addition, the resource will be expected to help define processes and controls for the support, development and administration of the new Marketing Cloud solution, train a backup administrator and help define the responsibilities of the permanent, staff administrator.
