Description:
Responsible for the execution of the platform design and architecture ensuring a secure, high-performance application
Author key deliverables documentation such as technical design documents, etc.
Ensure individual and team adherence to Athene methodology (use of templates and tools
Development of data integration, migration, security architecture strategy
Communicates technical solutions and design tradeoffs and recommendations effectively to business and IT stakeholders
Conducts architecture assessments
Ability to function as a Senior Developer, as needed:
Design and develop custom coded applications using Apex and Visualforce
Develop and document regression, use case and unit testing scenarios
Define and monitor compliance with code check-in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes
Lead technical requirements gathering sessions; capture and document requirements
Understand best practices, patterns and frameworks of object-oriented development and Salesforce development
Develop custom code for data migration and Integration
Develop custom code for application enhancements, e.g. extending user interface,
Develop and document regression, use case and unit testing scenarios
Complying with code check-in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes •
Ability to function as a Business Analyst in terms of configuration knowledge or QA Tester, as needed. Required Education and Experience:
Experience using Salesforce
Bachelor''s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and education
Understanding of CRM Fundamentals
Effective written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with project delivery concepts and methodologies
Understanding of Salesforce.com user interface and data model
Salesforce Technical Architect Certification or equivalent
Expertise in Object Oriented (OO) Programming and technologies, e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Java, .NET, OO technologies, database development, SQL, web development, etc.
Ability to work independently and own technology deliverables
Creation of 2-4 custom applications or equivalent
Involvement in ~4-8 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations or equivalent
Knowledge of Salesforce Performance Tuning and platform best practices
Awareness of mobile solutions and considerations
General experience with real-time integration
Experience with integration on the Force.com platform
2+ years as a technical lead or equivalent Preferred Education and Experience:
Familiarity with common third-party solution providers for Salesforce
Knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms
Salesforce consulting experience
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration; standard objects, reports/dashboards, processes, data management and sandbox environments
Ability to work independently or on a team
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, other)
Knowledge of MVC concepts, unit testing concepts
Experience in web page technologies would be ideal as well. Examples are Javascript, JQuery, Node.Js, etc.
Experience in web communication technologies and formats, i.e. REST, SOAP, JSON
Experience with Data architecture; develop data load and data quality strategy and plan
Guide clients in establishing data cleansing rules, data migration policies and ensure data solution meets functional requirements
Database query experience would be great, i.e. SQL, MDM, Data Modeling
