Job Description
Position Summary:

Technology-centric online bank leveraging Salesforce as its core technology platform. The Salesforce Developer’s primary responsibility is the development, maintenance, and expansion of the Bank’s Salesforce environment. This includes the continued delivery of new applications and features as prioritized by internal business stakeholders. This is a hands-on development role requiring the assessment of current systems and the delivery of new custom solutions adhering to Salesforce best practices and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform
* Assess and improve current Salesforce operations to support future growth and expansion
* Effectively collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other technical resources to design and deliver new features and functionality
* Evaluate scope and develop corresponding effort estimates for new projects
* Provide administration support and architectural guidance related to customizations, workflows, profile/role management, object/field limitations, etc.
* Analyze project objectives and application requirements against Salesforce best practices
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce meets operational expectations relating to functionality and performance
* Maintain a flexible work environment and attitude that adapts to changing priorities
* Mentor and delegate to junior resources

Required:

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related experience
* 5+ years of Salesforce application development
* Proficient with Apex, VisualForce, ProcessBuilder, Workflows, and SOQL
* Experience with Salesforce Communities
* Experience delivering Salesforce solutions that leverage APIs and Web Services
* Understanding of Salesforce governor limits and best practice coding standards

PREFERRED:

Salesforce Developer Certification
* Experience using Salesforce in Financial Services or similarly regulated industry
* General experience in the Financial Services industry
* Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
* Experience delivering Salesforce applications using SKUID
* Understanding of analysis, release management, manual and automated testing
* Experience developing lightning components a plus
* Ability to set priorities, and the discipline to execute to those priorities
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate complex technical solutions to management or team members is essential
* Self-motivated and detail-oriented
* Must have good time management and organizational skills and adhere to deadlines
* Collaborative and handles constructive criticism
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements
