Responsibilities:
· Contributes technical and project management expertise across multiple areas of application development.
· Participates in developing functional solution architecture & design, application and integration development best practices, enterprise architecture standards, environment management, testing, and Force.com platform approach.
· Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements or user stories and Welk’s coding standards.
· Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
· Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required
· Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
· Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations
· Work within an Agile Scrum or Kanban process
· Assists in other duties as needed and directed

Required Qualifications:
· Must have 5 – 10 years of professional work experience in a Software Development role
o 1 – 3 years in Salesforce programmatic development (Apex, Lightning, VisualForce)
o 1 – 3+ years in Lightning component development experience; if not, JavaScript development background will be considered
o Strong Proficiency in
§ Writing Apex classes, test classes, Salesforce APIs, Batches, Web Services
§ Declarative development (i.e. – security, object configurations, custom tabs, custom fields, picklist values, role based page layouts, workflow alerts and actions, workflow rules and approvals, validation rules, custom reports and report extractions to various formats)
· SFDC Dev 201 certified.
· Some understanding of Salesforce architecture patterns (separation of concerns and various approaches to implementing programmatic solutions) is preferred
· Developer certification preferred; Advanced Developer and any Architecture certifications are a plus
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
· Demonstrated experience of working effectively as part of a team
· Experience in agile is required
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work under own initiative.
