Job Description :
Salesforce Developer
Dallas, Texas
6+ months contract

Job Description:

Seeking Senior APEX Development resources that will not require a lot of guidance. The individuals should be able to build scalable solutions that will focus on Sales and Service Processes for client( energy domain) to support both the B2B and B2C businesses.

Developers will work on a team assisting with the merger of different Sales and Service Cloud orgs and integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms and backend ERP systems. The role will require consolidation of business process changes and configurations. The role will be based in Dallas but may involve some limited travel to Houston.

This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience of Salesforce development and configuration experience with syncing with large data volumes both inside Salesforce and through integrating with external objects and Apex Call Outs.

Salesforce certifications in “Platform Developer II” or “Advanced Developer” (that’s a deprecated cert but still good for me) would be good guideposts for you when looking for new resources. If they’ve gotten to that level, they’ll be good enough. There are also some Trailhead Super Badges that would be great to see if they’ve completed. “Advanced Apex Specialist” would be covered if they’ve achieved “Platform Developer II” as it’s required for the certification now. Another couple of good ones would be “Lightning Component Framework Specialist” and “Lightning Experience Specialist,” especially if they are well versed in development best practices around working with Salesforce transactional governor limits.

On the architecture side, a couple certifications to look out for would be “Integration Architecture Designer,” “Data Architecture and Management Designer” and “Technical Architect.” Those should cover the gambit of most development projects you’d find at any customer.

It would also be a plus if the developers had experience with HTML / CSS / and/or Angular JS, in addition to Apex.
