Job Description :
Job Purpose: The Salesforce developer will design and implement the key technical components of Salesforce solutions, integrations and extension. The Salesforce developer helps direct other technical resources to develop and deliver the solutions reduces overall technical risk by uncovering design issues early in the project life-cycle, sharing implementation best practices, and recommending solution alternatives. Additionally, the Salesforce developer partners with IT, Business Operations and project team members to conduct design/code reviews during major project milestones. This is a hands-on role that requires significant technical experience and abilities with Salesforce.com and related cloud technologies and platforms. Job Duties: Develop code; assist with technical strategy and direction to ensure environment is aligned with business strategy and architecture principles; offer recommendations for process, workflow, set-up and ongoing enhancements. Provide hands-on design and development of custom solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, VisualForce and application integration. Design, configure, and develop custom code/objects using the Salesforce.com\Force.com developer toolkit; develop custom objects, triggers, and workflows in Salesforce\Force environment; develop web services API integrations with other systems including Salesforce.com, production systems, and vendor applications Assist in evaluating the tradeoffs with technology and feasibility and identify choices that fit the constraints of the project and business benefits. Serve as the technical expert on projects focused on Salesforce.com - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Force.com platform. Direct involvement in the development of business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing. Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control. Work directly with key technical, operational and business stakeholders, facilitate business process analysis sessions, scopes and gauges level of effort for technical solutions. Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members, including offsite and offshore team members. Participate in special projects; and perform other duties as assigned, potentially requiring development skill sets outside of the Salesfoce.com environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position 7+ years of experience with application development
5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com development, including solid experience with JSON, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, SOQL and SOAP/REST web services
One or more current Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator) Salesforce.com Advanced Developer, or Technical Architect certifications highly preferred Knowledge of Salesforce best practices using Apex and VisualForce Knowledge of Salesforce Integration patterns and practices Multiple Salesforce Project deployments including release and environment management.
