Role: Salesforce Architect
Location: Windsor, CT
Duration: FTE
Experience & Qualifications:
Strong technical skills with minimum 15 years of IT experience, including at least 8 years as a Salesforce Architect.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com implementations, day-to-day operations, and maintenance of Salesforce
Knowledge of Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools
Serve as a thought leader in determining Salesforce strategy
Create and maintain technology strategy and roadmaps for various business areas
Experience with multiple, complex, and at least one large Salesforce implementation project involving multiple releases, change management process, and/or multi-locale deployment.
Experience with integration between Salesforce applications and other non-Salesforce applications – including working knowledge of some middleware tools.
Experience with enterprise architecture in a large, global organization.
Understanding of best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability to communicate design choices.
Manage the technical aspects of development teams to deliver full lifecycle SFDC implementations
Drive architecture and design technology solutions.
Creating and managing custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, page layouts, and approval processes
Generating and maintaining dashboards and reports
Experience with designing and building custom applications on Force.com
Experience with object modeling in Salesforce and understanding of fundamental database concepts (including SQL)
