Preference will be given to candidates who have at least seven years of relevant technology experience. A strong candidate will show:
Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud experience is essential in supporting and developing ongoing use of these products in numerous business initiatives - Marketing Cloud Connector, Import Activities, Data Extensions, Journey Builder and AMPScript
Strong analytic skills are essential in mining data. Ideal candidate will understand relational database fundamentals and demonstrate experience with SQL and reporting tools. Experience in mining data, developing analysis and presenting findings.
Ability to work within a team-centric, fast paced work environment and able to multi-task, set priorities, work independently and proactively with limited direction, solve complex problems and work effectively under the pressures of multiple competing deadlines.
Excellent communication, in a variety of method, is essential in keeping the stakeholders well informed. Strong customer service experience including documentation and training skills.

Day to Day :
The Software Engineer Architect is a top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of applications programming. Will be responsible for creation of standards, technical architecture, detailed technical design and development of software modules and components based on long term IT strategy. May lead project teams in the requirements analysis, technical design and development of new software modules. Contributes to the design and development of core architectural components. May work with business owners to clarify project scope and specifications. Uses project wide tools and standards. Applies knowledge of application architecture components.
This candidate will focus on two areas. First and foremost, they will support the Marketing Cloud projects and ongoing support. Specific experience with Marketing Cloud Connector, Import Activities, Data Extensions, Journey Builder and AMP Script helpful. In addition, they will triage issues around Salesforce Sales Cloud used by ExEd for running their day to day business.
