Salesforce Application Developer- On behalf of our client in the Real Estate sector, Procom is looking for 1 Salesforce Application Developer. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of development experience along with 3 years of experience working with Salesforce. Excellent communication skills required.
The Salesforce Application Developer is a mid-level developer with hands-on coding experience who will deliver creative, scalable solutions for HFF’s Lightning Experience-enabled Sales Cloud org. The right individual has top-notch technical abilities coupled with exceptional communication skills who will partner with our Salesforce Administrator and Developer to deliver on the Salesforce roadmap for our end users.
You must be motivated, a self–starter, detail oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and take ownership of your work to succeed in this role. Having a collaborative mindset and being a patient listener are critical.
This role is based in Houston, Texas and reports to the IT Applications Director.

Main Responsibilities
Design and develop Force.com solutions, applications, enhancements and associated technical documentation.
Understand and integrate external applications using the Salesforce API.
Assist in troubleshooting difficult technical issues.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of Force.com platform and stay current on Salesforce releases.
Experience Required
3+ year’s development experience with Salesforce.
5+ year’s professional experience.
Hands on development experience with Apex (Triggers, Classes & Controllers), VisualForce, Lightning Components, SOQL, integrating external applications via Salesforce API, and conducting data migrations.
Strong communication skills with a desire to innovate.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, etc is a plus.
Computer Skills
Apex (Triggers, Classes & Controllers), VisualForce, Lightning Components, SOQL, integrating external applications via Salesforce API.
JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, etc is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in technical or business discipline.
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II is a plus
