Position Summary

This position plays a key part in the global delivery of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies to satisfy business needs and provide the best information technology solutions across all business units of our client. The Senior Software Development Analyst is responsible for the complete delivery of the project, starting with a thorough understanding of the business requirements, architecting overall design, coordinating and tracking development progress and successfully implementing the solution following the IT solution framework (ITSF Supports our projects and liaises between our internal stakeholders and technical resources to analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements as well as working with Project Management to develop and track project plans. Principal Accountabilities

Analyzes business needs and creates software solutions.
Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
Prepares flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflow, and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
Responsible for preparing design/technical/functional specification documentation.
Designs, configures/codes, tests, debugs and documents software/solution per SBD-IT systems standards, policies and procedures.
Prepares test data for unit, development integration and performance testing.
Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Interacts with business users and I/T to define current and future application requirements.
Design, implements, maintains, and manages solutions on the Sitecore CMS and/or Hybris PIM Platform.
Contributes to the development of standards and acceptance criteria for internally and externally developed components
Participates in the evaluation of third-party deliverables against standards and acceptance criteria. Performs code reviews, requirements reviews, documentation reviews
Prepares accurate estimates using a systematic, repeatable approach.
Ensures adoption of and adherence to best practices
Required Skills & Experience
Knowledge:

Review and understand business requirements and estimate the level of effort, project plan and delivery timeline.
Work with salesforce.com and other vendors to build successful relationships and obtain value from our investments.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of salesforce, the industry and associated
technologies, and – where appropriate – put forward proposals within the team for the implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies helping ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform
adhering to change management and release management processes. Ensure industry best practice is being adopted in terms of Software/Integration Architecture, Development and Data Governance.
Interface with business colleagues to develop processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity as
well as developing a strategy as technical advisor for new functionality from salesforce releases, upgrades and/or AppExchange applications.
Partner with the IT Business Services organization to appropriately size Project, Run The Business (RTB) and Operational Support needs.
Take ownership of all personal software development within the team and ensure that all developments meet user and commercial objectives, are delivered on time, on budget and to the quality standards agreed.
Ensure the (source) code base for all currently supported solutions can be efficiently retrieved and rebuilt.
Familiarity with salesforce integration components – web services (such as SOAP + REST API) and Tooling API.
Knowledge of core salesforce products, including features that can be activated and separately licensed
products. Basic awareness of main off-the-shelf solutions and partner offerings to address typical gaps not covered by core salesforce functionality.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a
diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts is required.
Ability to lead and negotiate business solutions that balance technical capability, cost and time, against
business need is required. Must exhibit confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
Must have the ability to effectively prioritize work in order to meet deadlines and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proficient with basic technology, including office applications, sales force automation, database systems, executing data imports, running exports, ETL processes, merging records, and running reports.
Experience with hands-on Force.com development, including debugging complex Apex code, workflow rules, flows/processes, Apex triggers and other areas of Salesforce.com. Experience using source control and working with Data Loader, Workbench, Force.com IDE and ANT migration tools

Experience:

At least 6 to 8 years’ experience working with the salesforce platform.
2+ years Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development


Education

Undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences or a related field and 6-8 years’ relevant experience, or
Graduate degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
