Job Description:
The SFDC Talend Data Analyst will help with querying, mapping, transforming and migrating data from one SFDC environment to another, ideally using the Talend platform.
Key aspects of the role: Interpreting data and analyzing results. The analysis will be performed on SFDC data. Setting up Talend jobs to query, map, transform and load SFDC data.
Must be able to understand sfdc objects and common processes, and be able to convert requirements into data migration jobs.
Update existing Talend jobs based on test results. Execute Talend jobs to migrate data from source SFDC instance to target SFDC instance.
Must have ability to understand errors in data migration jobs and formulate corrections.
Requirements: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of overall IT experience, primarily in the areas of data analysis and data migrations for SFDC.
Good understanding of SFDC data structures and entity relationships, and functional understanding of common business processes. Good experience with developing jobs using Talend platform or similar.
Exposure to data tools like Demand Tools and familiarity with Excel formulas.
Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical mind and business acumen, and strong problem-solving aptitude Ability to communicate effectively with team members, business users, and management and to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing. Ability to work in a team.
Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.?
Certification in Talend and sfdc preferred.
