Job Description:
We are seeking passionate, self-starter Senior Business System Analyst consultant who would help us implement the Sabrix (OneSource) Tax solution configurations, customization in an upcoming project. The individual will be part of Information Technology team and will be a key link between business and IT teams responsible for the scope, architecture, and requirements gathering for the tax implementations. The role will be responsible for effectively driving the end-to-end solution in our ERP systems (Oracle Ebiz AR, Salesforce CRM)
Responsibilities
Understand and grasp the existing Sabrix configurations and customizations and the existing end-to-end flow
Drive the requirement, scope and architecture sessions for the tax implementations in primarily in US, APAC and EMEA
Work closely with business users and understand the business changes for US and/or International Taxes
Translate the business requirements into requirement document
Configure data specific to a company processing transactions in the US and worldwide
Configuring rules, rates, exemptions, messages, and other items specific to taxing authorities
Configure Sabrix inbound and outbound data to / from Oracle EBiz (R12.x) AR
Upload and download tax, configuration data and content in Sabrix
Perform configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in Sabrix and between Sabrix and Oracle for tax calculations
Model transaction scenarios and view results
Implement Tax Authority, Custom Rules and Trans-editor Configurations
Participate in Functional, E2E Testing and UAT
Report progress periodically to the project stakeholders
Required
Technical Skills/Experience
7+ years of Sabrix strong functional and configuration experience
Strong functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash flow and related taxations e.g. sales, use, VAT etc
4+ years hands on experience on Oracle Financials R12 release
Solid understanding of Oracle AR, eBTax, GL and SLA modules including configuration steps
At least three years of Sabrix US and International Integration/implementation experience with solid understanding of Sabrix data model
Should have worked on Sabrix 5.8.+ version
Should be able to configure and customize Sabrix based on user’s requirements
Should be able to change pre-calc and post-calc logic good knowledge of SQL/PL SQL
Should possess leadership qualities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should disseminate the knowledge to other team members
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience in using Salesforce application.
Experience in delivering using agile/scrum methodology
Experience responding to sales and use tax audits
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
