JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Database Developer position will be responsible for the design, and development of database objects and procedural code supporting various products developed by D&A. The developer will create programs to maintain data integrity in the online transaction processing and data warehouse schemas. Additionally, the database developer will be responsible for creating the stored procedures, triggers, constraints and ETL (extraction, transformation and data loading) programs. The position requires extensive hands-on experience developing stored procedures, ETL code and associated code in a MS-SQL Server and Windows environment.

QUALIFICATION:
5-8+ years of experience working on relational database platform with emphasis on database code development.
BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
Data modeling tools like ER/Studio or ERWin
Database design skills including normalization and data warehouse design
Strong TSQL skills
Strong SSIS skills
Strong analytical skills
Structured troubleshooting skills
SQL query performance tuning experience
Reporting tools like Qlikview, SSRS, Tableau or PowerBI
Experience in the healthcare industry, a plus

TOOLSET:
Microsoft SQL Server 2014 RDBMS
Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Integration Services (SSIS)
Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Reporting Services (SSRS)
Qlikview
Knowledge and experience with Transact SQL (stored procedure, trigger and constraint development)
MS-Windows
