Job Description:
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
*Develop, design, and deploy professional and polished reports using SSRS.
*Using SSIS, automate data feeds coming into and out of SQL Server.
*Develop dynamic SQL statements, stored procedures for Microsoft SQL Server.
*Demonstrate familiarity with relational database concepts and software development life-cycles.
*Perform assigned business analysis tasks and projects.
*Effectively collaborate with subject matter experts (SME?s) to establish or validate the technical vision and analyze the tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
*Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to analyze information needs and requirements and deliver what is needed.
*Data modeling, design, and optimization for new and existing functionalities.
*Define, develop and deploy business intelligence products within an enterprise-level strategy.
*Perform code reviews, analyzes execution plans, and re-factors inefficient code.
*Follows data standards, resolves data issues, completes unit testing and system documentation for Extract Transfer Load (ETL) processes.
*Conducts system tests and root cause analysis, troubleshoots issues and corrects database defects, responding quickly to bug fixes and enhancement requests.
*Follows change management process to resolve application defects or to implement development enhancements.
*Creates technical documentation of design logic and ETL processes based on technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
*Back up for basic DBA job duties when DBA is unavailable.
*Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Qualifications:
*BS/BA or equivalent experience.
*5+ years’ experience in all aspects of database design relative to SSIS/SSRS solutions.
*ETL data process experience needed
*Experience with reporting models, table functions and stored procedures.
*Must have strong SQL query capabilities.
*Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills are needed.
