Job Description :
The successful candidate will have adequate experience with SQL Server Integration Services, understand ETL processes, be familiar with Data Warehousing, and familiarty with Machine Learning and Data Science terminology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical consultation and support in the development of business solutions using various tools (SQL Server, etc)
Analyze business requirements and design documents, and write technical specifications
Develop complex code and provide coding guidance to less experienced staff
Lead and/or perform modeling, simulations and analysis efforts
Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs
Participate in overall systems testing
Support the migration of applications to production
Develop new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides
Lead solutions, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Ensure new features are modeled to integrate with existing application and provide a consistent data model
Develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flow and data models
Provide direction on adoption of new technologies and best industry practices in the field of data architecture and modeling
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years application development and implementation experience.
5+ years SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
3+ years developing SQL/Stored Procedures
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and issue resolution
Strong understanding of DataWarehousing and ETL processes
