ROLE PURPOSE:
The Senior Network Architect will help design and scale our Client’s global data center (US, EU and Asia) and network for all public and private cloud. He/she will provide high-level technical guidance to our Client’s network build and operations teams, and lead people and projects. As a Senior Network Architect you will provide the vision and implementation roadmap into evolving network technologies including large-scale data center network with CLOS topology, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Wide Area
Networking (SD-WAN), and other emergent areas.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design, Implement and Operate Clients Cloud Networks
· Define Standard Network / Security Operating Process & Procedures
· Continuously identify and leverage new technologies or methodologies
· Fault isolation, service recovery and incident analysis
· Provide Technical Guidance, Oversight and Training for .Net &
Security resources in Operations Center
· Capacity and Performance Management of the existing Network Resources
· ISP and Vendor engagement
· 20% or less travel is required.
BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE& QUALIFICATIONS:
· 10+ years of experience designing and planning large-scale date
center network and WAN
· 10+ years Network Engineering and Operations (Large-scale data
center experience preferred)
· Ability to lead and direct the work of others
· Hands on experience with routers and data center switches (Cisco,
or others)
· Deep knowledge of industry trends and impacts on network design,
architecture, planning and build
· Knowledge on Routing Protocols (BGP/OSPF/ECMP), Switching
Protocols (STP/VLAN/VPN/MPLS), IP Networking (IPv4 and IPv6, ICMP,
ARP), and Network QoS and Security (ACL, Firewalls, QoS
· In depth knowledge with major networking vendors: Juniper, Cisco,
Arista, FTOS, Arbor, Barracuda, Citrix
· Troubleshooting complex networks and applications.
