Under general supervision, the Production Support Analyst (PSA) assists in the development and delivery of technical and process oriented solutions and recommendations in support of the production environment. This includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of current system requirements, translation into proper system specifications, and writing and execution of test cases. The position is competent to work at a high level of most phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. The position guides and advises less-experienced Production Support Analysts and Associate Production Support Analysts and works independently on application support projects of medium complexity.

Additional Job Details:
Support applications for a client, it’s a vendor based application. Using confluence that works with crystal reports. They also use autosys as a scheduling tool as well.
Crystal reports 85, 11, and using PowerShell for scripting, use autosys top skills
There is some interfacing with client.
Duration- at minimum a year, could be more due to backlog of work.
team is comprised of Ed, as the primary developer, and another developer for some of the work, but not full time on the application. They also have an analyst on the project.
This groups is with ESS (enterprise support services) -will interface with the support team,
More heavy on development of reports, and scripting for post process, however not a software developer role.
Java/.net is preferred should have some coding technique, they won’t use that much, but when using the IAB tool, they will have to do some custom code in Java at a somewhat basic level.
PowerShell is a must, servers is deployed on windows.
