Job Description Overview:
The client is moving their Analytics and Information Management service to an Operations & Maintenance model. Their application landscape consists for the most part of AWS Big Data Services, Tableau and Informatica. The role of Erwin / SQL admin supports the data model in this landscape.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage an instance of Erwin and SQL Server that the team will use to track the data model of the Analytics platform. Participate in minor enhancements to manage help manage the data model.

LCAT Requirements:
Five plus years’ experience in data modeling and database design
Experience leading project meetings intended to gather project requirements or test the validity of data models.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work closely with customers and database administrators.
Ability to work well under deadlines and in a flexible environment where the position may be working on multiple concurrent tasks.
Ability to break down complex tasks into manageable pieces.
Ability to reliably estimate the time, effort and resources required to complete a task.
Detail oriented, organized and execution focused
Proficient with CA Erwin modeling tool.
Prior experience with CA Model Mart
Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Prior experience working with the various database management systems used by Amtrak (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
Prior experience producing dimensional models including gathering of reporting requirements and development of star schemas, aggregates, bridges, snowflakes etc.
Ability to use the SQL language to discover relevant information stored in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
