Position Title: SQL Server HA on
AWS
EC2
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
Duration: 12 Months+
Interview process: 1 hour phone interview then 2 hours coding / discussion. If they are satisfied then will go for the candidate - Initially part-time.
Notes from the client: We are looking for a person who have successfully designed and implemented SQL Server HA on
AWS
EC2 in production environment. We have already evaluated always-on availability groups and fail over clustering using data keeper and they won’t work for us for various reasons.
Environment: SQL Server Std 2017 on Windows server 2016.
