Job Description

Jr/Mid-level Developer This position is responsible for solving technical problems, creating code and supporting Microsoft applications, and platforms. Candidate will be provided with a unique opportunity to learn and become a Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP developer using the X++ language. Will develop and define requirements based on user and business needs. Further, will modify and/or create code as required and approved to meet changing business requirements. Will also gather functional and technical requirements to participate in or facilitate business process improvements. Will properly document modifications, new code and processes. Work is performed under the general direction of Manager of Software Development, with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment in the performance of day-to-day activities.


· Associates Degree in Information Systems or applicable field is required, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems is preferred.
· 2-5 years of proven business process analysis, development, and documentation experience.
· 2+ years of experience using MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS.
· At least 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 or later with a focus on .Net, C#, MVC
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in structured development methodologies/standards, functional design, analysis, and coding.
· Specific knowledge of core business processes including but not limited to Finance, Order Entry, Production, Inventory, Forecasting, Planning, Purchasing, Sales, etc.
· Must have proven experience in systems solution development from design through production and on-going maintenance/upgrades.
· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills with strong ability to quickly comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent quantitative skills; demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to manage, plan, and prioritize multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies; ability to work independently as well as participate in multi-functional teams.
· Willing to learn new technologies.

The primary required skills for the SQL Server Developer are:
Junior to Mid-level candidate
2-3 years’ experience in SQL Server development, SSRS (reports tool), SSIS (ETL tool), SSAS (BI tool for data analysis)
(FYI: SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) is a server-based report generating software system from Microsoft. It is part of a suite of Microsoft SQL Server services, including SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services
1-2 years’ experience in .Net technologies., MVC
Willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly.
