Job Description :
Our direct client is looking for a SQL Server Database Engineer for a contract position in Hayward, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing of stored procedures, triggers, DTS/SSIS packages, and other database objects to implement business logic.
- Developing technical specifications.
- Writing, testing, and debugging application systems and processes.
- Implementing and deploying application systems and processes.
- Performing maintenance and enhancement of existing application systems and processes.
Technical Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on SQL coding experience.
- 5+ years of SQL coding experience, including the creation of table, views, stored procedures, triggers, and DTS/SSIS packages.
- 5+ years of working experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008, & 2012
- Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong T-SQL experience.
- Familiarity with database administration a plus
Functional Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in the implementation and support of complex, high availability database applications.
- Experience with Onyx or other CRM applications preferred.
- Experience with Billing systems and process is a plus
