Job Description :
† Four (4) years of experience working as a MS SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), including database configuration, tuning, and implementation
† One (1) year of experience working with Windows Server 2008 R2, MS Active Directory and Local Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) security delegation and storage components
† One (1) year, within the last five (5) years, using SQLServerClustering and high-availability (HA) technologies, including mirroring, log shipping, failover cluster and various replication technologies
† One (1) year of hands-on experience working with implementation and support of SQL Server 2008 R2 /Windows 2008 R2 clusters and BizTalk 2010 (or later versions)
† Four (4) years of experience performing troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
† Four (4) years of experience in troubleshooting issues related to SQLServer database components, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory, input/out (I/O), disk space, and other resource contention areas
† Four (4) years of experience in evaluating existing schema and implementing improvements that have made a significant impact on database performance
† One (1) year of experience demonstrating a working knowledge of SQL Server DBA best practices (e.g., schema management, index optimization, and SQL Server Integration Services development and data modeling)
† One (1) year of experience demonstrating T-SQL query and database tuning skills
† One (1) year of experience demonstrating a knowledge of the SQLServer toolset:
o Profiler
o Database Engine Tuning Advisor (DTA)
o SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) Tools Pack
o Surface Area Configuration (SAC)
o SQL Server Configuration Manager (SSCM)
o SQL Server Performance Monitor (PerfMon)
o System-supplied stored procedures
† One (1) year of experience performing DBA skills in a multi-tiered application environment
† One (1) year of experience of Windows 2008 R2 (or later) operating systems and kernel registry
† One (1) year of experience with high-volume Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) database systems and larger databases (one terabyte in volume or greater)
† Certification as a Microsoft System Architect or SQL Database Administrator
† One (1) year of experience providing DBA support to a 24X7 production database environment
