Responsibilities
Maintains SQL Database Management Systems (DBMS)
Develops and enforces database administration and user standards and procedures; audits, modifies, and amends data in systems using SQL commands
Oversees the scheduling of database projects database and transaction log backups, notifications, and database replication between multiple SQL Servers
Reviews reports, documentation, and other related materials and will evaluate and learn new technology functions in order to extend practice functionality
Provides database support and other business applications utilizing SQL/Oracle as the database platform
Creates, imports, refreshes, and clone''s database environment
Monitors existing database systems'' performance and recommends effective utilization of resources and emergency recovery procedures
Communicates potential problems, enhancements and performance considerations to management
Required Skills
5-10 years'' database administration experience
Knowledge of T-SQL Development and Tuning skills
Knowledge of installing/administering clustered MSSQL 2014 instances
Experience migrating from 2005/2008 environment to 2014
Knowledge of Replication Technologies (transactional, merge) in a production environment
Applied knowledge of Microsoft Security/Authentication Concepts (Active Directory, IIS, Windows OS)
Experience configuring and administrating MSSQL technologies outside the relational engine (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
SSRS reporting experience plus
Some coding; JavaScript and HTML is a plus
