SQL SSIS ETL Developer
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a SQL SSIS ETL Developer long-term consulting basis. In this role, the SQL SSIS ETL Developer will:
* Will participate in the design, architecture, security, development, and performance tuning of an Enterprise Data Warehouse with the primary focus of this role related to ETL development using SSIS and Informatica.
* Collaborate with the Data Architect, the Data Modeler, Business Analysts, Business Intelligence Developers, and another ETL Developer to build robust, high performance ETL processes.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
* Bachelor''s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* SQL Development experience in environments that may include a combination of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and Postgres environments.
* SSIS development experience.
* Able to navigate unfamiliar data models of all types and to develop methods for reliably and accurately extracting data from them.
* A solid understanding of Ralph Kimball Data Warehouse design methodologies.
* SQL performance tuning expertise and other SQL Server DBA skills preferred.
* Informatica or other related ETL skills preferred.
* Windows Systems Administration or scripting preferred.
