Position: SQL Server Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+Months

SQL Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining TSQL queries and stored procedures to support our client''s Applications development and Business Intelligence teams primarily using Microsoft SQL Server and some mySQL Server databases.

Gather requirements, create technical design, document and implement solutions to satisfy
business and development needs.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Versions 2008, 2012, 2016;
Experience with Microsoft business intelligence technologies - Microsoft SQL Reporting
Services (SSRS), Microsoft SQL Integration Services (SSIS), and Microsoft SQL Analytical
(All technologies must be demonstrated)
Experience with data visualization and self-service BI technologies such as Power BI, Power
View, Excel Power Pivot
Develop and maintain solutions using SSIS, specifically ETL operations
Maintain and support Data Warehousing and Data Cubes for use by the Data Analysts.
Understanding and experience in Database/Metadata analysis and design.
Design, code, test and trouble shoot business ETL in SSIS Packages
Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and process
Knowledge of methods for quality assurance and usability testing for information systems.
High Level proficiency with SQL skills, working knowledge of stored procedure development,
performance tuning and data warehouses.
Experience designing and implementing ETL solutions with various ETL tools.
Experience integrating software with existing systems.
Develop and Maintain T-SQL Queries and Store Procedures
Experience with database design best practices, including normalization, query
optimization, referential integrity and logical database architecture
Ability to quickly understand business requirements and transform user requirements into
queried reports / stored procedures
Use of version control (SVN or other tools / methodologies)
Defining and utilizing data warehouses and dynamic reporting (including but not limited to
data modeling, ETL architectures, OLAP, drillable reports, star/snowflake schemas, etc)
Dealing with database performance and scaling issues
Using of SCRUM and Agile methodologies for iterative software development
