SQL Report Writer/Developer

Must have 5 years’ experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 and later and experience in report writing/development with SQL and Active Reports 7.0
Must Have
SQL skills including Create Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, and ad-hoc queries
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant experience
Experience with:
SQL Server Management Studio 10.0 (SSMS) and later
Visual Studio 2008, 2010
Visual Basic .NET
CSS
HTML
.NET Framework 2.0, 3.5, 4.0
Responsibilities
This position entails writing reports utilizing Active Reports, SQL Server, and a cloud-based ERP database connection.
The BA/BI SQL Report Writer will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports.
Work closely with developers and our internal and external customers to gather specifications and create deliverables.
Analyze user needs and develop Business Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions.
Design ad-hoc and dynamic scheduled reports for internal and external client use.
Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
Alert colleagues to emerging technologies related to business analytics and/or business intelligence.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
