POSITION SUMMARY:
As an integral member of the IT Solutions team, the SQL/ETL Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical data integration efforts. The position will develop and implement SQL enterprise data warehouse systems, support various data integration efforts, and collaborate on the revision of existing systems and applications. Working with cross-functional teams, the SQL/ETL Developer will gather and document applicable requirements and technical solutions to meet business needs. The SQL/ETL Developer will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement successful data solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop, modify or enhance applications based on formal or informal specifications
Develop testing data (unit testing, test-driven) for own systems as well as other systems developed by team
Thoroughly develop, debug, test and document systems
Develop scripts to automate routine and repetitive database SQL tasks.
Creating/tuning/optimizing stored procedures, DTS/SSIS packages and SQL code
Review and evaluate system/project requirements and specifications, estimate and document requirements highlighting potential technical problems or obstacles
Work with data & business analyst or end users to gather project requirements, analyze needs and process flow and develop user-oriented solutions
Analyze the existing operational & Analytical system applications and maintenance
Work within a team environment offering assistance, advice and technical expertise to peers with programming problems, design issues or other technical problems
Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, clients and incumbents to constantly improve Application Programming services
Technical understanding regarding data models and database design development
Understanding of XML and SQL
Available during non-business hours to resolve system issues as needed.

Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience
Strong Experience in T-SQL Development with MS-SQL Server 2014/2012/2008 R2
Strong experience on creating Database Objects such as Tables, Indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers and writing complex queries.
Strong SSIS Development and create dynamic packages – 2012 with all Work flow and data flow tools
Strong data warehouse techniques, methods and logging process – Dimensional model
Strong ETL development and data integration between multiple and various data source systems
Strong Experience in Query Optimization and tuning
Experience with Data Marts and BI tools & reports
Detailed problem-solving skills, strong Documentation, communication and interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Ability to manage time and projects, work within a team environment to meet project goals and deadlines
Ability to work on multi (Technical/Business) environments
Ability to train end users
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of desktop, server and network technologies
Work Environment / Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
