Job Description :
· The ideal candidate must demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of RDBMS concepts and experienced in writing complex SQL/TSQL.

· This individual will be responsible for helping the design, development and implementation of new and existing applications.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· 3-6 years SQL Server development and database management

· SQL Server 2008/2012 development and administration experience

· Perform activities encompassing all operations of database platforms, including modelling, designing, and creating objects to facilitate development.

· Utilize T-SQL to create complex functions, stored procedures, and triggers to facilitate business rules and to automate system events through the use of scheduled tasks and SQL Server jobs.

· Perform schema design, performance tuning, capacity planning, and change control management tasks.

· Troubleshoot issues in multiple environments at different levels including the database, application, and system levels with use of SQL profiler.

· Experience with data replication, synchronization, and data provisioning

· Manage security of database systems and maintain confidentiality

· Suggest and implement improvements to the database systems and processes

· Document the structure, processes and design of all the solutions being implemented

· Manage jobs for backup, re-indexing, database optimization and related tasks

· Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

· Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
