Job Description :
Client looking to staff up with consultants on a project to consolidate our HR workforce and migrate our data to a new platform, deliver data out of our legacy system and into the new HR system.
Also, we have to build a data warehouse for legacy data to satisfy retention requirements.
Basically we’re looking for database development and DBA support.
Looking to add a Database Developer to support the following initiatives:
Delivering data for the uFirst (Workday) team
Go live is July 2018
In the middle of tenant builds, remaining P3 and P4 tenant builds needed
Extracting data from Ultipro and staging on new platform using SSIS packages
Migration of data onto a single platform (new Data Warehouse)
New workforce will support and admin new platform
Extract data out of old platform and deliver into new and validate
SQL server 2014
Requirements:
Database Developer/SQL Developer:
Will extract, validate, and load data from Ultipro into new platform for UPG as well as provide to uFirst team
Some DBA responsibilities required to manager DWH where new data is being stored
SQL server proficiency (v2014 currently)
SSIS proficiency
Any ERP system knowledge, data conversion, data transformation experience heavily preferred
Informatica preferred
Data modeling preferred
