Client is currently seeking a SQL Developer/ Analyst to work with them on a contract basis. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders and other developers on a critical vendor migration project.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and verifying replacement report extracts are consumable by downstream systems, and adjusting system code as needed to accept the new reports
Automating and optimizing existing business processes related to data and database workflow
Ensuring high rates of system availability while moving to more strategic data sources
Qualifications
Expert in SQL Server, SSIS, Access, VBA, Excel
Experience with implementation of data dashboards to display data in differing formats
Data Warehouse knowledge
Production of ad-hoc queries and development of reports to support business needs
Design and deployment of data table structures, forms, reports, and queries
Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Prior work experience in the financial services industry required, with asset management experience preferred
Ability to relate to, interact with, and effectively work equally well with non-technical individuals in various business units within the firm, as well as a technical team, both internally and with vendor resources
Possess ability to work both independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively with a team
Preferred
Familiarity with top asset management reporting and portfolio management vendor platforms such as Brokerage Firm POINT, Bloomberg PORT and FactSet
