Job Description :
Primary Duties And Responsibilities:
Execute and perform testing scripts related to releases, projects, or fixes supporting new functionality, quality assurance and regression
Execute testing priorities and document results of testing
Validate, document and provide evidence of test efforts for application certification.
Document, communicate and prioritize defects
Identify test effort needed to appropriately test defect as well as regression test around defect once fixed
Create SQL or PL/SQL database queries to verify published data requests, retrieve specific data sets and results as needed for testing/verification purposes.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries to assist in data research
Background in application testing execution
Testing and System Development Life Cycle Methodology
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
General understanding of database structure and table relationships
Ability to create, execute, and understand SQL queries to assist in data research
HP Quality Center, HP QTP
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years Information Systems/Business-related experience
Strong analysis and problems solving skills
A clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services which support applications and users in the organization;
Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support;
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
Fluent with business level English both orally and written
