Job Description :
Experience with SQL 2012 and higher and Windows Operating Systems VMware required
Extensive knowledge of database recovery, database administration (including security) and database optimization and tuning required.
Install, configure, and administer database software within the Microsoft SQL server stack including SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
Participate in troubleshooting and recovering application databases.
Monitor tickets and requisitions and ensure work is performed on time and accurately.
Responsible for database recovery methodologies and implementation.
Administer database security to meet company standards.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Create and/or tune complex queries.
Review and assess the impact of database design changes prior to their implementation.
Provide technical expertise in the design and development of complex SQL.
May provide technical leadership for other database administrators.
Participate in the on-call/after hour support rotation for SQL Database Platforms.
Perform off hour database migrations as required.
