Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Required Skills : SQL DB, .NET, MSQL, Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools required – Microsoft SSIS, Data Warehousing concepts, Expertise in SQL, database architecture

GENERAL INFORMATION / JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Functions (What work with the Contingent Worker be doing

Provide business systems analysis leadership and guidance for developing an aftermarket operational database and an analytics solution.
Actively work with customers to analyze business needs, gather and document business and system requirements.
Perform data analysis, data mapping and data validation on a large data set.
Interface with software/tool vendors for technical support.
Define and establish data cleansing procedures and integrate with Master Data Management.
Work closely with various application teams for building interfaces.
Perform As-Is and To-Be business process analysis
Facilitate IT work estimates
Document use cases/functional designs and closely interact w/ developers and QA
Support the test team for test planning, execution and user testing
See the solution through to implementation
Facilitate meetings and document outcome
Perform technical consulting and user training when necessary
Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines
Provide best practices and application knowledge mentorship.

Required Skills/Experience (Supplier is prohibited from submitting a candidate that does not meet every requirement

8+ years of progressively responsible systems analysis experience, mainly around SQL DB and .NET applications
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools required – Microsoft SSIS.
Good understanding on Data Warehousing concepts
Good understanding and implementation experience with both relational and data warehousing models including star-schema, dimensional design, data mart, and database architecture
Ability to work closely with business and Developers to derive requirements.
Expert knowledge in SQL.
Passion for data and strong problem solving skills preferred.
Experience working with large data sets, good data analysis and data validation skills required.
Good understanding of database related utilities and tools.
Strong knowledge of database loading methods
Understanding of the latest technologies
Understanding of Master Data Management is preferred.
Understanding of information security management and data access policies.
Ability to work with customers, understand their business practices and manage their expectations
Ability to analyze and document business and system processes
Experience writing Use Cases and Functional Designs
Ability to plan and perform testing, including documenting test conditions, expected results, and test validation
Ability to multitask and handle ambiguity
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as take charge and lead tasks to completion is required.
Thorough understanding of the Application Development Life Cycle and the ability to lead efforts in implementing life cycle practices

Preferred Skills/Experience (These are the “nice-to-have” skills, but the lack thereof does not prevent Supplier is prohibited from submitting a candidate that does not meet every requirement
Bachelor degree (required) in Information Technology field
Good understanding of automobile aftermarket parts and service data, and experience working with dealer data
