Positions: SQL DBA
Location: Canton, OH
Core skills should include -
Candidate should have good hands on MS-SQL(2008R2 & Profiling) in development area.
Should be convergent with T-SQL area(Functions/Stored Procedures/Packages) by writing/developing these codes on his own.
Candidate should be able to identify the Performance Tuning region(SQL tuning) proactively and tune them accordingly.
Proactively monitor alerts/bottle necks from application prospective and act on par with application demand.
Need to have sound background on maintenance tasks to improve the performance of the application.
Ability to handle and schedule MS-SQL jobs as and when required.
Should be able to identify DB levels logs and fix them for smooth functioning of the application.
Ready to handle 3rd party customer issues and supporting them on need basis.
Windows level trouble shooting to overcome the problem is a must.
Optionally requires Patching deployment on Windows and MS-SQL database region.
