GC holders and USC wil be considered
The Senior DBA position will be responsible for maintaining the counties’ database systems (currently MS SQL Server) including back-up, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring critical events and documentation
8+ years SQL/TSQL Development Experience
5+ years Support of Production environments
5+ years Design of Database objects and relational tables and stored procedures
8+ years SQL performance tuning
Advanced SQL developer in MS SQL Server 2012 or newer in areas of database structures to improve/maintain performance/security and creating technical documentation (topology diagrams, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure), knowledge base articles, etc.
Person must have a vast hands-on experience in 3 tier environments in using SSIS (best practices, logging, notifications, and supporting documentation
This role will be targeted at identifying, categorizing, capturing, cleansing, aggregating and analyzing enterprise-wide data, metadata, and master data from a complex, distributed, and technologically diverse environment to support enterprise data analytics such as performance management, trend analysis, and advanced information modeling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of IT experience
Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable professional experience
