Role: SQL DBA

Skills:
Provide DBA support on all aspects of databases administration including backup/recovery, replication, deployment and
real-time production troubleshooting responsibilities on MS SQL Server
Hands on experience across all versions of MS SQL Server, expert experience with SQL 2008,2008R2,2012,2014,2016.
Extensive experience in Installation, patching and Migration.
Expert in HA Solution such as (WSFC) Cluster, Mirroring , Log Shipping and specially in Always ON Availability and
Read-Only routing.
Expert in backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience managing SQL in Cloud (Azure or AWS)
Well versed in T-SQL, PowerShell
Troubleshooting end-to-end performance related issues including application code, database performance, OS / Server
performance, along with network and storage related issues.
Experience of Windows 2008R2,2012,2012R2,2016 and Active directory environment
Knowledge on latest concepts of SQL 2016 and SQL 2017
Conversion and migration of databases from other platforms into MSSQL
Deep understanding of SQL Server internals
Experience with Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services
Experience with SR management of Microsoft support.
Database tuning ,Data integrity concepts and Broad technical knowledge of client/server and web-based environments
Tenacious work ethic, doing whatever it takes with resolve, integrity and an appropriate sense of urgency to meet
deadlines and get the job done
Ability to drive innovation for system improvements, determine architectural and design best practices, find automation
opportunities and guide proper use of new features.
Participate in security audits by assisting investigations, evaluating evidence, developing responses and action plans,
and making appropriate modifications to technology, processes, and documentation.
Skilled in establishing a mechanism to harden the database environment conforming to Center for Internet Security
standard.
This person will work with a cross-section of internal IT organizations, including other DBA's, analysts, developers and
management teams.
Conducive approach when working with other infrastructure support organizations like Server operations, Storage
operations, Backup operations, and application development and management teams.
Experienced, self-reliant individual able to solve complex database issues with little instruction
