IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a SQL DBA/Developer to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Description of Work Duties
Migration from Informix to SQL database
Create and update logicial and physical SQL database model from existing Informix database
Design the SQL database structure that includes partitioning and disk layouts
Design database import / export processes used to generate client data warehouse deliverables
Design SQL datamarts from the SQL database model
Analyze, define and document SQL system requirements for data, workflow, and interfaces with other systems
Develop the processes for configuration for how to promote from Dev, Test, and Production System
Managing and versioning the database projects using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2015
Assist SQL developers with the debugging and optimization of SQL queries, stored procedures and overall database programming.
Documenting release notes and coordinating the deployment from Dev, Test and Production
Review SSIS projects and packages for deployment including documentation process
Qualifications
TSQL / SQL Server - Advanced - 3 to 5 years - required
MS SQL Server 2012-2017 - Advanced - 3 years - required
SSIS - Advanced - 3 years - required
ETL Processing, Repository Pattern, Factory Pattern, Unit testing - Intermediate - 3 years - Required
Informix - Intermediate - 2 years
TFS 2015 - Intermediate - 3 years - Running Unit Tests
Powershell - Beginner - 1 year
Visual Studio - Beginner - 1 year
Non-Relational (No-SQL) DBs - Beginner - 1 year
Event Sourcing Pattern, Event Store - Beginner - 1 year
MQ Series - Beginner - 1 year
Windows - Intermediate - 3 years
