Responsibilities
Daily production support for the SQL Server database infrastructure
Maintaining and managing standards, documentation, backup and recovery, design, and implementation of the physical data storage, virtualization of databases
Maintenance, patching, installation, capacity planning, access, security administration (vulnerability assessment and protection of data), performance and availability, data integrity, disaster recovery
Troubleshooting of all assigned databases in an always-on availability group environment
Responsible for KPIs
Responsible for supporting “off-site” DBA work through AWS and Azure
Required Skills
A minimum of seven years of experience as a SQL DBA in a production environment, with experience in latest SQL Server version releases
Strong familiarity with SSIS Packages
SQL Server Clustering
SQL Server Replication
SQL Server Database Mirroring
SQL Server Integration Services
SQL Server Analysis Services
SQL Server Reporting Services
Development experience is a plus
