Position :- SQL DBA
Work Location:- Atlanta, GA
Duration:-6+months
Minimum work experience :8+Years
Required LinkedIn Id, DL and Visa copy mandatory.
Must have:
Experience in any of these scripting language - PowerShell, VBScript, T-SQL
Skills required:
- Responsible for physical database architecture and design, development, performance tuning, implementation, and support of the applications from a database perspective.
- Define and implement database, SQL standards ,best practices and avoid potential performance issues.
- Conduct Code Reviews to ensure coding standards, Handle database object deployment through multiple product lifecycle environments, from Development to Production support.
- Work closely with application developers to test, configure, and optimize servers based on application demands; work with large volume, heavy load databases.
- Experience required in backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, indexing .
- Ensure backup policies to meets the business Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and business Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
- Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring, query optimization, troubleshooting tools, dealing with MSSQL Dynamic management views and functions for performance analysis
- Ability to handle High Availability (HA- Log shipping, DB mirroring, DB Replication, Clustering, Always-ON) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server
