Job Description :
8+ years of experience on SQL Administration (preferably MCDBA)
2. Installing SQL server and client software, creating, upgrading.
3. Must be able to do requirement gathering and requirement analysis for any new projects from SQL database perspective
4. Document the requirements for new project and prepare the plan
5. Should be able to do risk analysis for any new upgrade/ installation.
6. Experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014
7. Experience in Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.
8. Patching databases in Windows environments.
9. Experience in Upgrade and Migration of SQL database
10. Performance Tuning of SQL databases
11. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
12. Planning, scheduling and taking SQL backups.
13. Hands on experience in database backups and Recovery
14. Export/Import, Cold, Hot backups & DR solutions.
15. Successfully implemented physical standby database using SQL Data replication and log shipping
16. High availability configuration, AlwaysOn, Log shipping
17. Installation, Configuration and deployment of SQL database
18. Capacity Management
19. Database security
20. Should be able to work in 24*7
21. Responsible for identification and mitigation of risks and vulnerabilities
22. Prepare disaster recovery (DR) plan and demonstrate successful functioning of DR

Lead the participate in outage calls
Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly/ customer / internal meetings and provide activities report.
Follow Compliance and Regulation policy of TCS and Customer
Understand the SLA and ensure the SLAs are met as per the TCS agreement with customer
Keep the Inventory up to date for global locations
Work with offshore team and ensure deliverables are delivered on time
