Job Description :
SQL/COSMOS ETL Developer with a focus towards reporting and model development. The ideal candidate would be familiar with ETL development and data modeling for downstream consumption and use. Vdash eligibility is a must.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain ETL packages from flat files to downstream sources run daily
Help design overall direction and roadmap towards automation
Collect feature requests based on customer needs
Align data structure and modeling to best practices
Act as reporting ambassador to internal business, drive regular communication and feature cadence
Define queries from SSAS sources using DAX and MDX
Define queries from COSMOS using SCOPE Script
Skills:
5+ yrs experience in the BI industry with a strong emphasis in the Microsoft Stack
2+ yrs experience using SCOPE to query in COSMOS
Solid understanding of data modeling and development in SQL
5+yrs experience with T-SQL
3yrs experience in SSAS (both Multi-dimensional and Tabular)
Solid understanding of data flow, stored procedures, pipeline automation, and quality testing
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong understanding of Azure
